First Set of Photos From The 2012 TOYCON

I finally finished sorting through and editing the photos from the 2012 TOYCON held last June at the Megatrade Halls of SM MegaMall. I've taken so many pics that I've  decided to divided them among 3 posts. So here is the fist part with photos of toys and statues in the toy collection exhibit area.

2012 Philippine TOYCON Exclusive Batman Comic

So I totally missed out on the Comic Odyssey Sale this weekend. Oh well...

Anyway, while I'm still working on the photos from the recently concluded 2012 Philipine TOYCON, I thought I'd share one other freebie I got. Aside from the Spider-Man Magazine, I also got this cool comic book.  This Batman comic book is a 2012 Philippine TOYCON exclusive and collects issues 6 & 7 of Batman: The Dark Knight; the story is titled "The Rise of Bane". This book was given as prizes during raffles and contests held at the event.

Spider-Man Magazine

I recently attended the press conference of TOYCON 2012, and one of the promotional (read FREEBIE) items I got was this Spider-Man Magazine published by ABS-CBN Publishing Inc (API).

The Spider-Man Magazine is the newest children's magazine from API that centers on the popular comic book, TV and film character Spider-Man. This newest offering shows  the hardworking Peter Parker and his webslinging alter-ego Spider-Man battling it out with super villains such as Doc Oc, Green Goblin, Sandman, and--in this issue-- the Scorpion.

Each magazine is packed with action-filled comic panels, games and trivia. It also has cut-outs, posters and other surprises in every issue. This particular issue came with a set of Fantastic 4 stickers!

The Spider-Man Magazine is a bi-monthly publication and is available at Php 120.00 in major bookstores and news stands nationwide.
