HAULS: 1993 WildCATS Trading Cards

They're finally here! My set of WildCATS trading cards arrived 2 days ago. I asked my brother to order this set for me from Ebay , which was roughly Php300.00 give or take.

These came out sometime in 1993, and features artwork taken from the first four issues of WildCATS. These were done by one of my favorite comic book artist of all time- Jim Lee. But aside from his work, this card set also features artwork from other Image Comics artists of that time, such as Sal Regla, Brett Booth and Marc Silvestri. 

This set that I got is a complete base set of 100 cards, and does not include the special prism cards. I'm perfectly fine with not getting the prism cards, because it is quite hard to find a full set. Anyways, I'm sure a set of those prism cards would eventually show up on Ebay, so I'm keeping my eyes open.

HAULS: The New Avengers

What a sweet present!  Last Christmas, a friend of mine gifted me this New Avengers book. Its a collected edition containing the  "Revolution" story arc which came out in New Avengers #26-31. Written by Brian Michael Bendis and illustrated by Leinil Francis Yu and Alex Maleev. This will go on the shelves, not in the box, along with my other trades.

HAULS: An Amazon; A Blood Sucker, and One Big Community

Here are some recent purchases I made. From Comic Odyssey's Sale bins, I got Wonder Woman # 604 and Tomb of Dracula : Throne of blood one-shot. Comic Odyssey had a sale from December that's still ongoing, i think, until they move to their new home in Robinson's Galleria. I never really got around to collecting the new Wonder Woman before DC rebooted into the New 52, so I guess now's a good time to start. 

I made a trip to the bookstore last week and got me Pugad Baboy 21. Finally! I think there are 2 newer editions, but they weren't available at that time, so I wasn't able to get them.I also bought a Black Widow: The Things They Say About Her, because I thought I didn't have that issue yet. Well, it turns out that I do. That's what happens when I go out without my list.
